One of your technicians, Jane, asks for a quiet word. Once in the staff room, she tells you that her colleague Clara has been upset recently and appears to be struggling. You are surprised at first, but realise you haven’t really talked to Clara recently, as the pharmacy has been so busy.
“Ian – her husband – was made redundant last month and he hasn’t been able to find a new job,” Jane tells you.
“Clara’s been really stressed and is worried that she is becoming depressed again. She won’t say anything to you, because she knows everyone in the dispensary is stressed at the moment. I’m really quite concerned that her head is in a bad place. Do you think you can talk to her?”
