You will receive a salary of £36,966. Some locations offer an enhanced package. Please discuss with one of our Recruiters for more information on this – professional.resourcing@boots.co.uk

Which areas offer relocation payment?

This depends on where you are in the UK - we offer location payments in Scotland, Wales and England, mostly in coastal towns or in the countryside. A location payment is an additional payment to live and work in that area. Please speak to a member of our Recruitment team for further information.

Can I register my interest for 2021?

Yes, please visit this link - https://bit.ly/BootsNewlyQualified2021

Do you offer visa sponsorship?

Yes, we can visa sponsorship roles nationwide.

Will I have a mentor?

Yes, as a newly qualified Pharmacist at Boots you’ll enroll on to our newly qualified Foundation Programme. As part of this programme you will work with a mentor known as a HAT (Healthcare Academy Trainer). Additional to this you will have mentors in the form of your Line Manager and Area Manager.

Can I work part-time?

Yes, in some areas we do take part-time newly qualified Pharmacists. Please speak to our Recruitment team to discuss further.

What does ‘relief’ mean?

Firstly, it still means you are employed by Boots! Working on relief means you will be allocated a base store but will travel across the area to different stores, covering for the Pharmacist’s absence and days off, and at other times you will support busy stores as a second Pharmacist. It’s a great opportunity to get to know our business better by working in different store formats and with different teams.

Our Foundation Programme

Our Foundation Programme is a mix of e-learning, study days and self-directed study. You will also have one of our Healthcare Academy Trainers as a tutor to support you with workplace-based assessments, give you feedback, and help you to develop.

As a newly qualified Pharmacist with Boots you will:

  • Start your journey with our Foundation Programme
