Media Zanganeh is a pharmacist, lecturer, and translational biomarker researcher with a focus on bridging laboratory science with practical applications to improve health outcomes. 

She is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the Medway School of Pharmacy and co-leads the Sleep & Wellbeing Clinic at the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy and Neurowell, University of Kent.  Her research interests are biomarker discovery and translation in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative conditions, with particular focus on prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE). 

Her PhD at the University of Brighton contributed to the development of a preliminary approach for identifying potential PAE biomarkers, which continues to inform her translational work today.  She is also interested in the public health implications of alcohol use in the UK, its integration within pharmacy curricula in higher education, and the use of simulation to enhance student learning.
