‘You would want someone to help if it was your mum!’
Out making deliveries in Skelmersdale, Lancashire earlier this month (September 4) for the online pharmacy Chemist4U, Keith Hamilton (pictured) and Jimmy Brown saw the patient they were delivering to “didn’t look very well”.
She had blankets covering her as well as having the heating on “full blast”, so the pair went to a nearby shop to buy two hot water bottles for the woman.
"She is someone’s mum – why wouldn’t you help?” said the drivers. “You would want someone to help if it was your mum!”

Hamilton and Brown stayed at the patient’s home until her carers arrived to make sure she was “warm and comfortable”.
The patient said she was “so thankful, nobody’s ever done that for me before”.
Chemist4U chief executive James O’Loan said "we are immensely proud of Keith and Jimmy” and the pair demonstrated the online pharmacy’s “patient first approach” and “caring culture".
