About Shilpa Patel
As a GP Partner and Prescribing Pharmacist at WellBN, I combine my MRPharmS IP credentials and 10+ years of experience in pharmacy and general practice to deliver high-quality, patient-centred, and cost-effective care. I lead and mentor a team of nine pharmacists, oversee the medication management for 25,000 patients, and run a successful benzodiazepine detox clinic.
I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge and insights with the wider pharmacy community. I write for journals such as C&D and EmpowHER, speak at national and international events, and host AskShilpa.com, a platform that provides practical prescribing guidelines for primary care.
