Day Lewis announced yesterday (May 12) that pharmacist Peter Glover, a member of its senior management team, has passed away suddenly. 

Glover joined Day Lewis 37 years ago in June 1987. He started out as a pharmacist before going on to hold various roles within the group.

He held the group superintendent pharmacist position before more moving to an advisory role.

Day Lewis co-founder JC Patel said Glover was “much loved” and he “leaves behind a lasting impact on Day Lewis”. 

“His contributions to the field were significant and his legacy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working with him,” Patel added.

A statement from Day Lewis said his leadership skills and expertise were “instrumental in shaping the company's success and growth over the years”. 

It sent its “deepest condolences to Peter's family and friends” and Day Lewis will “honour his memory by continuing to uphold the values and standards he showed throughout his remarkable career”. 

Peter Glover passed away on May 10, 2025.
