Adam Somerville is the third president of the Pharmacists’ Defence Association LGBT+ Network. He currently works as a specialist pharmacist in HIV, sexual health and gender and has recently completed a residency program in hospital pharmacy shortly after the podcast was recorded.
In this podcast, Somerville explains the events and projects the PDA LGBT+ Network gets involved in and pharmacies' role when it comes to PrEP.
He shares about his studies in Manchester, going from hospital bank shifts to locuming in the community and why he loves building a rapport with patients when he can in hospital pharmacy.
