Howzat!? Online pharmacy becomes official Nottinghamshire cricket partner

It will mean Nottinghamshire cricket club members and supporters can access free blood pressure or blood glucose checks during games. 

Family Chemist husband-and-wife team Sunny and Nikita Dhain said the partnership “celebrates local spirit” and “supports our shared goal of helping Nottinghamshire stay healthy and well”. 

Nottinghamshire’s interim commercial director Joe Sharphouse said the pharmacy’s “local success story with family values” meant the partnership felt “like an ideal fit for us”.

In August 2024, C+D revealed that alongside other online pharmacies, Family Chemist appeared to be using social media influencers to promote sales of prescription only medicines and weight loss services. 

It comes as C+D reported last month that the Lincolnshire Co-op sent its pharmacy teams to the three professional Lincolnshire football teams games as part of an initiative for people to have “easier access to get their vaccination on a walk-in basis”. 

And a travel pharmacy has become an official partner with Sheffield United FC for the 2025/26 season.
