Sheffield Travel Pharmacy is the name of Totley Pharmacy’s travel services, a community pharmacy in a suburb south of Sheffield city centre.

It will now have its logo appearing on advertising boards behind the manager and players when they do press conferences each week during the season.

The club, known as the Blades, said it is “delighted to welcome Sheffield Travel Pharmacy as an official partner”.

It comes after the pharmacy also offered free blood pressure testing for fans at the club’s ground Bramall Lane.

Sheffield Travel Pharmacy owner Tajinder Singh said he is “incredibly proud” to partner with them.

He added: “As lifelong fans, it's a special moment for us to support the Blades not just from the stands, but as an official partner."

Sheffield United's commercial manager Liam Robinson said the travel pharmacy is “a valuable addition to our ever-growing partner network” and “we look forward to working closely together”.

Longstanding partners

Links with the four-time FA Cup winners have gone as far back as 2016 when a couple of Sheffield United’s ex-players attended Totley Pharmacy’s 20th anniversary event.

It had previously joint sponsored with St Luke’s Hospice at Bramall Lane in 2017.

It had advertising space on the ground’s dugout, the boards encircling the pitch and screens above it promoting themselves and the hospice.

In 2019, the club’s former manager Chris Wilder opened a donation station at Totley Pharmacy for its charity partnership with St Luke’s Hospice.

And former striker and captain Billy Sharp helped post a promotional social media video when the pharmacy introduced its new prescription collection machine back in 2022.

It comes as Scottish indie pharmacy chain M&D Green will sponsor the back of Glasgow’s Queen’s Park football shirts for the 2025-26 season, its fifth year in a row.
