The Big Debate - Is online pharmacy profitable?

Talk about scratching the surface! Of course there are many angles to cover when it comes to online pharmacy - not least the fact that it's perfectly safe. But... Today we are going to start by discussing the profitability question (and take it from there).  So - this debate was prompted by former GPhC chair Nigel Clarke who asked whether an “online only” model of pharmacy is “actually sustainable”. He went onto say: “I suspect it’s quite difficult to make money out of online pharmacy. If you look at the records, profitability in online pharmacy is difficult to achieve.”Historically, perhaps. But how about now - has Hub & Spoke made things a lot easier for online pharmacy to significantly increase volumes, for instance? Join us at 1pm and let us know what you think!
